"Jeri" was born and raised in Southern California in the Whittier area, finishing her K-8 Teaching Credential at Whittier College. She taught for a few years, married and raised 6 children and when all 6 were in school, Jeri returned to the classroom and worked for the Los Angeles Archdiocese Catholic Schools in the Whittier area in Education Administration. She moved to Gold Beach in June, 1991. In October of 1991 she was hired as the Emergency Services Director for Curry County. She retired, when she married Wally Honeycutt in 1997. Together they have 13 children. They built the Rogue Reef Inn Bed & Breakfast and were Innkeepers for 10 years. Jeri spends her time now working with nonprofits in the community and trying to keep up with 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
