Tickets are now available for Curry Health Foundation’s popular annual fund-raising event – the Rogue River Champagne Jet Boat Cruise, announced Cruise chair Meryl Boice. The fourteenth annual cruise is scheduled for Sunday, September 14, 2008. Amenities will include champagne and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a buffet dinner at the Singing Springs Resort.
The “Rogue Queen,” a glass-enclosed craft – provided by Rogue River Mail Boats — will depart at 1 p.m. from the Mail Boat dock and return about 6 p.m. The cost per person is $70.
With generous sponsorship from Rogue River Mail Boats, the Curry Health Foundation is able to offer this event. The popular annual cruise has raised thousands of dollars in prior years that have benefited local non-profit health-related organizations in Curry County.
The Curry Health Foundation is an independent philanthropic organization that supports healthcare organizations throughout Curry County. Since 1996, the Foundation has awarded over $382,000 for worthy projects benefitting local residents.
